    The adult form of the ureterocele without obstruction and with unrestrained passage is seen as a variant, and no therapy is needed.

    Ultrasound 1 <- view Ultrasound 1

    Ultrasound 1: Duplex-sonography: cystic structure at the base of the bladder. Jet phenomenon is seen. Changing size in practically regular intervals.

    Ureterocele (adulte Form):  Unterschied: infantile und adulte Form der Ureterocele

    Entschuldigen Sie die Frage, aber was ist genau der Unterschied zwischen der adulten und der infantilen Form der Ureterocele? (Nur die fehlende Obstruktion?)
    Auf das Alter des Patienten bezieht sich die Definition wohl nicht, vermute ich.

      Lieber Robert,
      als adulte Ureterocele bezeichnet man eine Cele ohne zugehörige Doppelung des ableitenden Systems, als ohne s.g. Doppelniere. Diese Form ist nur selten obstruktiv im Gegensatz zur infantilen Form, die mit einer Doppelniere verbunden ist und häufig eine Obstruktion aufweist. Die altulte Form gibt es aber auch im Kindesalter.
